Project Manager-Structural Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking full time, Masters level, licensed structural/civil engineers with a minimum of 5 years experience handling multiple, fast turn around building projects that require extensive client coordination. Excellent leadership, communication, and creative problem-solving skills are a must. Demonstrated management experience which includes employee supervision, federal government work, and construction administration required. Technical experience in building design, structural dynamics, failure analysis, retrofit design and MatLab required. Knowledge of structural response to the effects of conventional and terrorist weapons, and familiarity with current government anti-terrorism standards is preferred. Must be willing to travel approximately 5 days a month and able to obtain a DSS (Defense Security Service) clearance.

Qualifications
• You are a licensed engineer with an MS in Civil/Structural Engineering and 5+ years experience in project management and structural design.
• Technical experience in structural dynamics, failure analysis, retrofit design and MatLab is required.
• Management experience in employee supervision, federal government work and construction administration is necessary.
• Technical experience with MathCad, SAP2000, DYNA3D, AutoCAD, and AutoLISP is helpful.
